About Me

Thirty-something going on twelve.

Most of my fandom fun is spent making vids, writing fic or generally bouncing about Livejournal, talking about characters or episodes of my favourite shows.

When I'm not being eaten by a new vid or pulling my hair out by the root over a new fic I can be found reading other people's fic and drooling over their vids, icons, meta, basically anything which catches my eye. I love live music and attending live gigs and spending rare, quality time with friends I have made in fandom. I also enjoy attending conventions and meeting people who love the things I love.

My journal is pretty much open to all. I rarely lock anything fandom related and anything that is locked is usually personal babble which wouldn't interest a fruit fly. I'm also mostly about the bouncing and shiny-happy people and stay well away from the wank. If you're looking for wank, there's none to be found here. But if like me, you enjoy the fun side of fandom then jump on in, I'm pretty easy going and generally friend back people who take the time to introduce themselves or make me laugh.

I also have a thing for actors/people who smile a lot. It's a thing, some would consider it a kink, whatever, it's definitely a thing.

About My Fandoms

I am mostly active in the Supernatural and Smallville fandoms in as far as writing and vidding and episode reviews. Although I began fandom life in the BtVS/AtS fandom but my only participation in the fandom of late is reading fic and keeping in touch with the wonderful friends I met because of it. Although I still have a great love of both Spike and Angel and wouldn't run screaming if they whapped me about the head with a plot bunny, be it fiction or vidding.

But mostly my journal consists of rambling regarding Sam and Dean Winchester, Lex Luthor and Clark Kent. It isn't unusual to find a bamillion posts regarding Michael Rosenbaum, Tom Welling, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki.

Especially if Tom Welling or the Padalecki happened to have smiled at some point. Or Michael Rosenbaum has been his normal geeky self and Jensen Ackles just happened to have looked in the direction of a camera.

I also love Bones, and David Boreanaz, especially when he smiles (see a pattern emerging here), The Black Donnellys (especially Tommy and Kevin) Prison Break, Shameless and anything starring James Marsters be it his acting or his music.

About My Pairings

I mostly write slash fiction although I do read Het and Gen fiction, I just don't write it.

This journal is of the opinion that Lex Luthor belongs to Clark Kent, no matter how much the writers would like us to believe otherwise of late. Destiny and fate can kiss my ass. While it may try and convince me that by day they are now enemies, by night, when the bedroom door is closed to the outside world and prying eyes, Lex and Clark are all about the love.

And Sam belongs to Dean and Dean belongs to Sam, whether that's as brothers, friends, warriors figthing side by side or any variation of.

This journal also contains RPS fiction, again if that makes you uncomfortable feel free not to read it.

And Spike belongs to Angel. This is non negotiable. Okay, so maybe it's debatable but no amount of debate can change the fact that Angel loves Spike and Spike loves Angel.

My vids mostly revolve around Spike, Angel, Lex, Clark, Sam and Dean. They're mostly general or episodic but there are some that are based on pairings, which is clearly stated on each vid description.

About My Journal

Mostly this journal is wank free and I'd really like to keep it that way, I'm not really interested in negative opinions of fandom or other fandom members.

Nor am I interested in the 'My Winchester is better than your Winchester', I'm a love one love them both kind of girl.

If you don't like the shows I enjoy or the characters/actors I like that's fine but I'd prefer it if it was kept out of this journal. We all have our corner of fandom to express our opinions be them positive or negative and as long as the negative is expressed in people's own corner of fandom then I'm a happy camper. Don't be squishing my characters/actors unless it's done with love and we'll get along fine.
